You can ask that someone else be assigned to mediate your case if you feel the mediator is biased against you. Your legal representative can explain the specifics to you. Is joint custody an option? There are more than a hundred different ways to arrange joint custody. Some cases split the custody exactly in half so that the child spends equal portions of time with each parent. Most judges will want you to at least consider joint custody unless there is an immediate danger. When you are asking for child custody help, you need to be prepared to at least explore the idea.
